FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of packing and can be used in the manufacture of containers for liquid food products. The spliced sealing tape is formed of two tapes. The method of splicing the tape is characterised in that the ends of the sealing tapes are cut to form a bevelled edge. The ends of the sealing tapes are placed one on top of another. The overlap is formed between the bevelled edges. Improved sealing properties of the spliced sealing tape are provided.
EFFECT: absence of interference in operation of the filling machine from the sealing tape.
