FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes applying a centrifugal force on an aqueous suspension of nano-zeolite particles to separate supernatant fluid from the solid phase which contains nano-zeolites and residual impurities. The solid phase is treated with a solution which effectively dissolves or converts residual impurities and agglomerates nano-zeolites. The agglomerated nano-zeolite particles are extracted from the suspension by filtering.
EFFECT: simple method of separating zeolite nanoparticles from a suspension and shorter duration of the process.
