FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used for feed preparation. The method comprises using the voluminous coarse fodder mass as unconditioned pulp which is pulverised and mixed with a paste prepared from green mass of legumes, mineral supplements, high protein grain concentrates and preservation agents. The said mixture is granulated with simultaneous heating, pressing, pre-drying the resulting granules making extrusion of the mixture through the conical pressing channels followed by cooling the granules in the air stream. The device consists of a central conveying unit in the form of a screw in the cylindrical casing communicating with the hoppers, the chopper-mixer in the form of a blade-fan in the box, connected by the rotary chute with a charging device of the screw press. At that, the latter is made in the form of a cylindrical container, closed with a removable cover with press channels over which the blade is placed. Under the cover a tray with the discharge chute is located, connected to the ventilation chamber, from which the cooled granules are fed into the container.
