FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely, to construction of new and reconstruction of existing roofs of dwelling houses, buildings and structures with a metal roof. The roof is equipped with a device for ice and snow removal, which is a structure from lightweight elastic material laid onto roof slope and gutter. In the lower part the device is equipped with a heating electric cable and ballast that makes the elastic structure heavier. The top of the elastic structure is fixed so that between the roof and the elastic structure there is a gap sufficient for leaking of rain water from the slope into the gutter located under the elastic structure.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
