FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method includes arrangement of detachable L and/or T-shaped plates on roof surface, which are attached to the roof by means of fixing elements, to retain snow and ice on the roof. Fixing elements are represented by a flexible woven structure made of steel ferromagnetic wire. A source of alternating electromagnetic field with adjustable amplitude, frequency and nature of effect is installed under the roof directly under fixing elements.
EFFECT: contactless damage of snow and ice on the roof.
