FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic cuffs are placed on an upper one-third of thighs with the extended extremities lifted to an angle of 45°C to horizon. The cuffs are inflated to generate a pressure of 180 mm Hg, and the extremities are lowered to a horizontal position. Therapeutic solutions and respiratory gases are heated to +42°C and administered. A gastric probe with an oesophageal balloon heated to +42°C is introduced into an oesophagus and a stomach, and the probe, balloon and stomach are filled with drinking water heated to +42°C. The cuffs are remained inflated to recover the cardiac function.
EFFECT: effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation ensured by preventing excessive cardiac hypothermia, permanent cortical damages caused by administration of solutions, therapeutic preparations, gastric probe heated to a certain temperature.
