FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to umbilical cables intended for operations in oil and gas wells and may be used for movement of objects, in particular, instruments in horizontal wells. According to one of the versions the device is represented by an umbilical assembly consisting of two umbilical cables having different diameter and placed coaxially and partially one in the other. The device contains an electrical conductor placed in the cavity or wall of one of the umbilical cables. End butt of the umbilical of a smaller diameter, which is placed inside the umbilical of a larger diameter, has a piston matched to the umbilical of a larger diameter. The end of the umbilical of a larger diameter is closed, the beginning is also closed and has an axial opening through which the umbilical of a smaller diameter passes; the opening has the second channel related to the volume between the piston and closed end of the umbilical of a larger diameter. By its channels the umbilical of a larger diameter is communicated to the channel of a pressure umbilical and drain outlet to the environment through a four-port three-way distribution valve or a solenoid valve. The delivered object is fixed at the end of the umbilical assembly.
EFFECT: improvement in technological effectiveness of inclined and horizontal well survey, reduction of costs and time for survey performance.
