FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device relates to measurement equipment and may be applied for detection of damages on the inner surface of lengthy piles and detection of the shape of their cross section. The proposed device for diagnostics of condition of the inner surface of the pipe comprises a measurement unit, which includes sources of lighting of the controlled inner surface, such as four semiconductor lasers, a body of a measurement unit, which is connected to the unit of information registration and processing, the measurement unit may move inside the pipe. At the same four semiconductor lasers are made with the possibility to record an electric signal on a p-n-transition, whenever a radiation laser gets into a resonator reflected from the inner surface of the pipeline.

EFFECT: this device makes it possible to increase accuracy of detection of surface defects with simultaneous provision of possibility to detect shape of a pipe cross section.
