FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: this invention in general relates to valves, in particular, methods, devices and finished products, designed for calibration of instruments installed on valves. The proposed device (100) for calibration of a valve unit (102), including a valve (106), a drive (108) and a pressure sensor (110), comprises an interface (104), designed to accept the value of valve position and to accept the value of sensitivity of the position sensor, and also a device to calculate extreme points, designed based on the signal of the position sensor, and also the first and second values, to calculate the first rated value (HI_CAL), corresponding to the expected fully open position of the valve, and besides, based on a signal of a position transmitter, and also the first and second values, to calculate the second rated value (LO_CAL), corresponding to the expected fully closed position of the valve, at the same time the specified first and second rated values are calculated without changing the position of the valve in the period between calculation of the first and second rated values.

EFFECT: improved calibration.
