SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technological processes. Valve controller for valve control comprises positioning controller, transmitter and valve position sensor. Calibration table or graph contains values of the transmitter output signal related to the readings of the valve position sensor. Calibration table or graph is created by processor of positioning controller, which executes algorithm using information on valve positions reached by valve during calibration of positioning controller, and calibration readings of the position sensor, obtained from the valve position sensor in response to the calibration control signal of the valve, supplied by the positioning controller during calibration of the positioning controller.
EFFECT: reduced time of calibration.
