SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation devices and can be used to measure flow rate and amount of gas or liquid in manufacturing processes, as well as in equipment for accounting for energy resources for cost accounting in housing services and utilities. The method of making a drop generator, having a flow portion in the form of flat fluid elements with control, receiving, feed and discharge channels, structurally placed above each other, includes creating a 3D model of the drop generator, selecting the working material for growing the drop generator, determining the axis of the 3D model of the drop generator as the growing axis, selecting in 3D format the growing (polymerisation) position thereof, which determines the minimum reduction of flow passages of the flow portion, forming layer-by-layer sections of the drop generator in 3D format in the direction of the growing axis, technologically growing the entire structure of the drop generator layer-by-layer.

EFFECT: reliable air-tightness between layers and information transmission channels, shorter time for making the drop generator, easier installation of the entire body of the drop generator in any structure owing to absence of threads, difficult copying.
