FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: sheet glass bending device comprises a profiled convex mould. A bending mechanism consists of a pressing frame made as two profiled plates coupled by flexible bands, and a drive. A shaft with a drive connected with the ends of the pressing frame by flexible members is set under the mould. The shaft drive is additionally fitted by a transition shaft with one end of the latter having a splined joint with the shaft set under the mould. The other shaft end is set outside the heating furnace body, and a pulley connected to the mechanical load by the flexible member is fixed to it.

EFFECT: improved geometrical and optical parameters of bent glass.
