FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction finishing coatings for walls and ceilings and a finishing glaze for decorative textured finish. The glaze composition for application on a substrate contains dry powder latex, a liquid latex emulsion, a coalescing solvent, wax, a thickener and water. The glaze is rewettable during application and is extremely durable after fully drying.
EFFECT: invention enables to produce a glaze composition which takes up colour and enables uniform application of the composition onto the surface of a substrate.
