SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly neurosurgery. An osteoplastic trepanation is performed, and a dura mater is exposed. An oedematous brain prolapse into the linear incision and a rhombus-like dura mater disruption requires repairing four sides of rhombus are repaired with two triangular insertions with bases of the triangular inserts left free. That is followed by making at least one additional incision from the rhombus centre to both sides to the edges of the trepanation defect at a random angle to the linear incision. The additional incision disruption in the centre requires a similar plasty of four sides of the formed rhombus with two triangular inserts with bases of the triangular inserts left free. The dura mater defect formed by the repair manipulations is covered with the insert of the respective configuration.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the postoperative complications that is ensured by preventing brain injuries caused by bone defect edges if observing oedematous brain and pseudocephalocele.
