FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to novel metallocene compound, catalytic composition, which includes said compound, and method of obtaining olefin-based polymers with application of said composition. Metallocene compound is represented below by formula 1 , in which R1 and R2 are similar or different from each other and independently represent hydrogen, C1~C20 - alkyl group, C1~C20 - alkoxygroup, C2~C20 - alkenyl group, C6~C20 - aryl group, C7~C20 - alkylaryl group, C7~C20 - arylalkyl group or C7~C20 - alkoxyaryl group; R3 represents C1~C20 - alkylsilyl group; Q1 and Q2 are similar or different from each other and independently represent hydrogen, C1~C20 - alkyl group or halogen; and M represents Zr, Ti or Hf.

EFFECT: application of novel metallocene compound as catalyst for obtaining olefin-based polymers provides possibility of synthesising olefin-based polymer, having low molecular weight and wide molecular-weight distribution.
