FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to olefin based polymers. Olefin-based polymer having a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of from 5 to 30 is proposed; ratio of melt flow indexes (MFR21.6/MFR2.16) from 35 to 200, measured at 190 °C according to ASTM1238; slope of the curve of complex viscosity (η*[Pa s]) of the frequency (ω[rad/s]) is from -0.8 to -0.2 and the CI index (comonomer inclusion index) is from 0.5 to 5, CI-index is determined by the formula CI-index=high-molecular-weight SCB content – low-molecular-weight SCB content/low-molecular-weight SCB content; where the content of SCB (short-chain branch content) is the content of branches of side chains with 2–7 carbon atoms per 1,000 carbons (units of branching/1,000C), and the SCB content of the low molecular weight side and the SCB content on the high molecular side represent the SCB content along the left border and the right border respectively of the centered 60 %-area, excluding 20 % of the left and the right ends from the total area of the molecular weight distribution curve obtained by applying the log-value (log M) of the molecular weight (M) of the olefin-based polymer along the x axis and the molecular weight distribution (dwt/dlog M) with respect to log-values along the y axis, where an olefin-based polymer is obtained by polymerizing ethylene and an alpha-olefin-based comonomer in the presence of a hybrid metallocene catalyst on a substrate.
EFFECT: proposed polymer has excellent processing ability and improved mechanical properties.
