FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric gripper contains two fingers designed as bimorph piezoelectric actuators, fastened on the housing and connected to control device. The control device contains the microcontroller, connected through the communication port to upper level computer, and DA converters, connected to each bimorph piezoelectric actuator separately. Each finger contains a capacity sensor designed as fastened on the housing parallel to the finger, dielectric plate with metallised surface, splitted in two equal electrodes, connected to the upper level computer through the sensor signal converter.
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of micropositioning, reliability and speed.
