SUBSTANCE: header comprises dividers (4), a cutting unit, a screw (1) and a feed elevator. The screw (1) is made with the shear segments (2) and has left- and right-hand winding direction (3). The screw diameter (1) is comparable with the height of the stems of spiked cereals. The dividers (4) are made in the form of an isosceles triangle. The sides (5) of the dividers (4) comprise a notch (6) which is directed against the direction of the combine motion at an angle smaller than the angle of friction of stems on the steel. The lower side of the dividers (4) is multiple of pitch of segments (2).
