FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to presses, particularly, to press-tool for compaction of powder pyrotechnical materials. Proposed press-tool comprises female die aligned with male die and arranged abutting on volume batcher located under loading bin opening with pyrotechnical composition. Female die channel forming section converges to gaging section diameter. Female die channel forming section profile is curvilinear. Female die channel gaging section accommodates radial pylons secured in lengthwise direction and distributed over periphery. Multistart cooling air flow grooves are made outside the female die.
EFFECT: optimised process parameters of through-feed compaction, ruled out ignition of powder material, decreased tribodynamic strains in female die forming section.
