SUBSTANCE: described is a superconducting element which includes a rigid substrate made of non-superconducting material, wherein said substrate includes at least one superconducting track formed by a groove containing superconducting material, the density of which is equal to at least 85% of the theoretical density thereof. A method of making said element is also described. The present invention also relates to possible uses of superconducting elements, as well as to superconducting devices including said superconducting elements.
