FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power industry and can be used to generate peak electricity during the creation and reconstruction of steam power plants or LNG complexes. A method for obtaining peak electricity by expanding the gaseous working fluid in a gas turbine to obtain useful work during the period of maximum loads with removing exhaust gases formed in the combustion chamber at high pressure from fuel combustion products in an oxidizer medium to the atmosphere, including the accumulation of fuel and oxidizer energy in liquid form in the intervals between periods of maximum loads. At the same time, the air used as an oxidizer is liquefied by evaporation of liquefied natural gas supplied from an LNG cryogenic accumulator, the liquefaction of air and natural gas is carried out continuously, including the period of maximum loads, due to the generation of its own energy in a steam-power cycle with a boiler, steam turbine and condenser, the liquefaction of natural gas during maximum loads is carried out mainly by heating liquid air fluids.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to save energy in the process of its accumulation and the release of electricity by a peak power plant.
