FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dermatology, and can be used to validate a selection of a follow-up and management approach aiming at preventing an unfavourable course of idiopathic Kaposi's sarcoma, and a transition from a chronic to sub-acute, then acute form of the disease. The method involves history taking to detect risk factors of the clinical deterioration of idiopathic Kaposi's sarcoma, a transition from the chronic to sub-acute, then acute form of the disease, conducting clinical and immunological analyses of patient's blood. That is followed by calculating an integrated assessment of a pathogenetic value of the presence or absence of the exposure of exogenic and endogenic factors promoting the clinical deterioration, the clinical and immunological values. The derived data collection is used to predict a probability of the clinical deterioration of idiopathic Kaposi's sarcoma and to predict a further development of the disease.
EFFECT: method enables deriving individual criteria of predicting the probability of the clinical deterioration of idiopathic Kaposi's sarcoma, the transition from the chronic to sub-acute, then acute form of the disease, enables validating the selection of the follow-up and management approach aiming at preventing the unfavourable course by eliminating the detected risk factors and prescribing an adequate rational therapy.
