SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical diagnostics, and can be used for prediction of risk of complicated gastric ulcer. Gastric biopsy is carried out with sampling of two biopsy materials: in the body region and in the antrum along the greater curvature, one biopsy material along the lesser curvature in the body region. Expression level of microRNA-146a is determined, and the arithmetic mean is calculated based on the results of three repetitions. If value is 2.904±0.153, a high risk of developing complicated gastric ulcer is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides more accurate prediction of a high risk of developing complicated gastric ulcer by determining the expression level of microRNA-146a in gastric biopsy materials.
