SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture and can be used in harvesting crops. The measuring device of filling degree for measuring and displaying the residual potential of filling of the target area comprises a three-dimensional sensor, a data management system and a video display device. The target area is the open top of the container which is filled using the unloading chute with the products of agricultural vehicle in the form of a forage harvester. The three-dimensional sensor is used for monitoring at least the part of the open top of the container. The data management system provides on the video display device a visual image indicating the residual potential of filling by indicating the current level of the agricultural product from at least three different levels of residual potential of filling.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions enables the operator to control effectively the gradual filling of various areas of the container.
