FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to wind-power engineering and is intended for a windwheel speed control. A wind-driven power plant control method involves aerodynamic limitation of power developed by the windwheel owing to changing the position of its blades relative to wind and stop of the windwheel by reducing power on the windwheel till its rated value by control of a torque difference. Control of the torque difference is performed by redistribution of torques between two generator rotors by changing their electrical load. There is a device for implementation of the above method.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at an improvement of accurate control, quick action at abrupt wind gusts and at an improvement of the wind power efficiency.
