SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and specifically to a user interface. Described is a user interface having a zoom functionality. A method of displaying the user interface, comprising steps of: a client device displaying a user interface having representations of a plurality of content, wherein each of the representations is formed using a respective picture-in-picture stream of respective content, wherein at least one representation is configured to display without sound output; detecting a stretching gesture performed on the surface of the client device, where a specific representation is displayed, wherein said specific representation is selectable using the stretching gesture for displaying respective content without displaying other representations surrounding said specific representation; and in response to detecting a stretching gesture, performed on the surface of the client device, displaying the respective content by said surface by zooming in from the picture-in-picture stream of the respective content to a respective video stream of the respective content and configuring the respective content for display with sound output which corresponds to said respective content.
