FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: sample under inspection is placed between the flat heater and cooled from the bottom by refrigerator, from all sides is closed with the sealed covers and temperature wave on the surface of test material from side of the heater is detected. Time of observation is specified in the electronic control unit, temperature of the heater, temperature of refrigerator, thickness of the sample are set on the buttons by means of the control panel, using them to define the values of the coefficient of thermal conductivity and thermal resistance in computing device of electronic control unit. Temperature values of the sample surface from side of the heater are entered into the computer and used in conjunction with data obtained in computing device of electronic control unit to determine the required thermal characteristics. Device implementing this method is also announced.

EFFECT: increase of determination reliability of thermal characteristics of solid building materials.
