FIELD: measurement methods.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for determining the complex of thermal, acoustic, and mechanical properties of solid materials, according to which the sample is placed in a device for implementing the method. In the electronic timer control unit, test duration, heater temperature, refrigerator temperature, sample thickness are set. Thermocouples are connected to the computer device to measure the temperature of the sample surface on the heater side and on the refrigerator side. Additionally, a heat flux sensor is connected to the computer device, which is installed in the middle of the plane of the sample surface on the heater side. The computer device, using the obtained values of the sample surface temperature from the heater side, from the refrigerator side, and the heat flux density from the heater side, determines the proportion of penetration of the temperature wave. Based on the obtained values of the heat flux density and the penetration rate of the temperature wave, the computer device calculates a complex of thermal, acoustic, and mechanical properties of solid materials using known mathematical relations.
EFFECT: expansion of the technological capabilities of the method for determining the thermal, acoustic, and mechanical properties of solid materials.
