FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for investigating kinetics of impregnating fibrous filler with polymer binder comprises a reservoir with binder, an apparatus for impregnating fibrous filler with binder with an observation window made of transparent material and a compressor. The impregnating apparatus is a horizontal pipe with branch pipes made of transparent material, wherein one open end is filled with the investigated fibrous filler and the other end is connected to the reservoir with binder for impregnating fibres under pressure, wherein at the same end of the pipe a gas vessel is mounted in the branch pipe for feeding a gas bubble into the binder in the pipe. To control pressure of the binder, a manometer is included in the pipe, and to determine the speed of movement of the binder in the pipe and the fibres, a video recording device with real-time referencing of the movement of the gas bubble in the binder and the fibres is installed. In all branch pipes of the pipe stop valves are installed for said compressor, reservoir with binder, gas vessel and manometer.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain accurate experimental data on kinetics of flow of binder in fibrous filler samples.
