FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of preforms of articles - preparations based on reinforcing fibres impregnated with polymer binders. Invention can be used in basic industries, such as aircraft engineering, space industry, power engineering, shipbuilding and automotive industry for production of parts and their components from polymer composite materials (PCM), which must withstand extreme mechanical loads, while ensuring significant savings in weight, as well as safety of operation. Proposed method of making preforms for compressor blades of gas turbine engine consists in creation of three-dimensional structure from layers of reinforcing fibres by means of automated directed strip according to TFP-technology of first layer to substrate, fixed with subsequent layers by fixing threads of zigzag line, wherein density of laying layers of reinforcing fibres, characterized by distance between layers, is 2.85–3.00 mm or 57–60 standard units, with 1 standard unit = 0.05 mm, and the length of the zigzag stitch - the thread pitch of the fixing thread is 7–10 mm with the stitch width equal to 5 mm, and the substrate material for the stripe of the detachable preforms is a water-soluble coarse fleece based on polyvinyl alcohol.

EFFECT: technical result is achievement of optimum physical and mechanical indices of compressor blades operation.
