FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for making a preform based on a water-soluble substrate. Technical result is achieved by a method for making a preform based on a water-soluble substrate for compressor blades, which includes an automated patch of reinforcing fiber on the substrate by TFP-technology with subsequent removal of substrate elements. Substrate material used is a water-soluble material based on polyvinyl alcohol - vlieseline, and the process of removing the substrate elements is carried out while controlling the quality of the preform sample until complete dissolution and washout of the vlieseline particles with water.
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of possibility of damage and change of preform configuration of fibrous structure at separation of sewn base in process of product manufacturing.
