FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe rolling, primarily, to continuous pipe rolling mill roll pass and can be used at pipe rolling at two-roll and cluster mills. Mill pass is composed of roll passes, roll cross-section profile being composed by arc with recess at pass bottom located in symmetry relative to pass vertical axis. Recess contour is composed by arc and two symmetric straight lines tangential to recess arc and two peripheral section of profile arc of the roll cross-section while the angle composed by recess outline makes at least 1/8-1/6 of the roll pass angle.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished pipes.
