FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling mill three-roll stand calibre. Rolling mill calibre is formed by rolls, the cross-section profile of each of which is formed symmetrically relative to the calibre axis perpendicular to the roll rotation axis, central arc, conjugated with it radial outlets and arcs of peripheral sections of roll cross-section profile, conjugated with the above mentioned radial outlets. Radial outlets are formed by tangents connected to arcs of peripheral sections of roll cross-section profile, having radius ranging from 2 to 4 mm. Angle corresponding to central arc, α ranges from 67 to 69°. Gap between adjacent rolls of stand S is equal to 1 to 2 mm. Projection of said tangent profile of cross section of roll on longitudinal axis of roll has length E, mm, determined by mathematical expression given in formula of invention.
EFFECT: as a result, the output of the workpiece material into the inter-stand gaps is minimized and the correct geometrical shape of the finished product is achieved.
