FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. A thermoelectric energy accumulation system includes a working liquid that circulates through the first and the second heat exchangers and a heat accumulating medium that circulates through the first heat exchanger. The second heat exchanger is connected to the first thermal bath during the charging cycle and to the second thermal bath during the discharging cycle. Therefore, effectiveness of the full charging and discharging cycle is increased owing to minimising the temperature difference between the first thermal bath and a hot storage tank during the charging process and achieving the maximum temperature difference between the second thermal bath and the hot storage tank during the discharging process.
EFFECT: invention allows improving the cycle efficiency.
