FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. The invention presents a device and a method for measurement of parameters of burning in a gas-turbine engine measurement zone. The measurement zone is determined as that located between an external casing and an engine component having a reflecting surface inside the external casing. The device contains a laser generating a transmitted light beam with the chosen wave length and multi-mode transmitting fibre optically adjacent to the laser. The transmitting optic device is optically adjacent to the multi-mode transmitting optic fibre for transmission of the transmitted beam to the measurement zone. The reflecting surface has the possibility of providing the Lambert reflection. The receiving optic device is located so that the above Lambert reflection can be received. A provision is made for a device optically adjacent to the multi-mode transmitting fibre for averaging of multi-mode noise created by variation of the signal level of light spreading in the multi-mode transmitting fibre.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing modal noise related to burning processes.
