FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: radio emissions reflected by targets are received; their angular coordinates are measured by means of passive radiolocation (PRL); distances to at least one of the targets are determined by means of active radiolocation (ARL), and distances to other targets are calculated. As a radio emission source, there chosen is an over-the-horizon radar station (HRS) with its known coordinates and parameters of emissions (probes) with constant or variable period of repetition and an irradiating controlled zone; moments of reception of its probes reflected from targets; then, after distance to one of the targets is determined, a probe emission moment is calculated, as per which distances to other targets irradiated with the same probe are calculated; speeds of the same targets are calculated; their primary capture is performed and their automatic tracking is performed by means of PRL; when necessary, distance to at least one of them is performed by means of ARL, and probe emission moment is specified, and distances to other targets and their speeds are specified as per its value. A complex for determination of target coordinates, which implements the method, represents a monostatic radar station, includes the first antenna and an active detection channel (ADC), the second antenna and a passive detection channel (PDC), a coordinate evaluation unit (CE); the first antenna output is connected to the first ADC input, the second antenna output is connected to PDC input; besides, the proposed complex includes a probe emission moment evaluation unit (PEME), a target tracking unit (TT), a threshold device unit (TD) and a common time sensor unit (CTS); besides, ADC output is connected to the first input of PEME unit, PDC output is connected to its second input, as well as to the first input of CE unit and to the first input of TT unit, the first output of PEME unit is connected to the second input of CE unit, and its second output is connected to the first input of TD unit, output of TD unit is connected to the second ADC input, output of CE unit is connected to the second input of TT unit, and its output is connected to the third input of PEME unit, output of CTS unit is connected to the second input of TD unit, to the fourth input of PEME unit, to the third input of CE unit and to the third input of TT unit; besides, PDC antenna is of a multibeam type.
EFFECT: stable determination of all coordinates of targets, which is continuous during a long period of time, in a far control zone at increase of emission security of the complex.
