FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device for inspection of macrodefects on the internal surface of the pipes comprises the emitter, radiation receiver, pipe guiding cylindrical body, mechanically linked with electric drive and installed along the body axis, limit switch, control unit, power supply unit connected through the control unit with the limit switch, meanwhile on the internal surface of the cylindrical body the symmetrical slots are made, in each of which four pairs of guide rollers with a step 90° are installed, the axle of each roller is rigidly connected with a bracket able to move along a normal to the surface of the cylindrical body, meanwhile each bracket is spring-loaded with reference to the cylindrical body, another end of the spring rests on the pressure sensor, the guiding pipe is installed using bearings in the cylindrical body with a possibility of rotational motion, the guiding pipe and cylindrical body are connected to each other by gear-and-pinion set, one of the wheels of which is connected with electric drive, the rod is installed on the same axle with the body and rests on the spring is installed with a possibility of axial movement, the second end of a spring rests on a pressure unit installed on a flange of the cylindrical body, meanwhile on the part of the rod located outside of interior of the cylindrical body, the limit switch is installed on the rod outside of the body and touches the end of inspected pipe, on the end of the guiding pipe the emitter is fixed, before the emitter the membrane is placed, in which the parallel slots with an angle of inclination towards the radiation receiver are made, in the guiding pipe the opening between the membrane and radiation receiver is made.

EFFECT: determination of geometrical parameters of macrodefects on the pipe surface with different colouring at keeping of high reliability of inspection results.
