FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of diagnostics of repair structures applied for repair of pipelines according to a composite-coupling technology. Substance: a pipe with a defect is sealed by means of welding of two plugs with elliptical bottoms to its ends. At the same time one of the plugs comprises two nozzles: one is for water supply, the other one - for air drainage. A repair structure is installed on the defective pipe and is filled with composite materials and tested in four stages by means of development of inner pressure.
EFFECT: invention provides for validity (information value) and completeness of assessment of mechanical properties of a composite formula; inspection of bearing capacity of a pipe repaired by composite-coupling method.
