FIELD: engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pipeline transport, and is used for repairing high-pressure main gas lines. Pairs of process rings are installed on both sides of defective section. Adjacent end faces of the rings of each pair are welded to pipe body. At least two pairs of additional rings are mounted between pairs of rings so that at least three sections can be formed in the space under the coupling. Parts of repair coupling, which are welded with longitudinal welds, are installed on the rings. Outer end faces of the coupling are welded to the surface of outer rings, and inner end faces of the coupling parts are welded to the surface of additional rings. Extreme zones of the space under the coupling are filled with self-curing mass, and after the mass is cured, central parts of the space under the coupling are filled-in under pressure comparable with pipeline internal pressure.
EFFECT: improving pipeline reliability.
