FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: extruder for processing of thermoplastic materials includes the body, forming tool, frame, drive and working member - two serrated rotors installed with a clearance. And along the rotor teeth hollows the groove rectangular cross-section grooves are cut, and the tooth tip is made with angular shoulder, one of the sides of which is located in a plane of symmetry of the teeth.
EFFECT: decrease of reflux of power mass through the clearance in a toothing of rotors, ensuring of stable pressure in a pressing zone of extruder and improvement of stability of its operation at a rated output.
