FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tire making drum with collaring mechanism. Proposed rum comprises basic part with central shaft. Two circular segments are arranged around the latter and spaced apart for fitting the side flanges. Stretching device to stretch the tire components radially within the limits of circular segments. it includes two axial levers arranged on both sides of said circular segments. Note here that lever first free outer end directed toward circular segment has first collaring element while its opposite end is pivoted at axially displacing support. Shifting device shifts lever support in first direction for displacement of both outer ends of both lever sets axially towards each other. Note here that said levers can deflect radially from initial position to inclined position for axial and radial displacement of fist outer ends at simultaneous pressing of the part of tire components located outside said circular segments to tire components stretched part inside said circular segments. Besides, it serves to shift lever supports in second direction, opposite the first one, for axial displacement of the levers to different sides from inclined position to initial position. It comprises registering device to define if one of drum moving parts stays at preset position. Note that said registering device comprises compressed air source and air duct to be communicated with compressed air source. Note also that said air duct has the hole while moving part at preset position of nearby it is connected with air pressure and/or flow rate control hole. Besides said registering device comprises air pressure and/or flow rate controller.

EFFECT: simplified bending mechanism, higher precision.
