FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drum for assembling uncured tire with the help of tire rubber components. Drum comprises central shaft and two drum halves arrange there around. Threaded spindle is arranged inside drum shaft with thread of equal pitch and opposite direction. Lead nuts are fitted on said spindle, each being rigidly engaged with appropriate half of the drum by connection link. Drum both halves can displace axially. Assembly of folding levers is arranged on each half of the drum to axially displace thereon and engaged with appropriate half to turn. Besides, every half has clamping assembly to support and retain side ring core arranged on cylindrical part. Said cylindrical part is arranged around drum shaft and has slot to receive connection part and retaining mechanism arranged to engage with and disengage from drum shaft so that, when engaged, it allows folding lever assembly to displace axially relative to cylindrical part.
EFFECT: compact design, ease of maintenance.
