SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the method for fixing the connector in lightweight building element and connector for use in the method. Connector comprises the sleeve and piston, having the rod portion, besides the rod portion is directed by the sleeve. Piston and / or sleeve comprises thermoplastic material, at least, at the area of joint of superior part of piston with the sleeve. Method includes the following stages: connector is taken, through-hole is made in the first constructive layer of lightweight building element and connector is inserted through the hole until its far end thrusts against the second structural layer. In this case, either the sleeve or piston, or both elements, i.e. the sleeve and piston can thrust against the second structural layer. Also, method includes the stage at which the piston is pressed toward the far end and mechanical oscillations are entered in it, as a result melting of parts made of thermoplastic material occurs at the joint area of the sleeve with piston. In this case, the outer boundary of the joint area has a contact with peripheral wall of the hole (or is at shot distance from it). The molten material flows in radial direction outward the boundary and penetrates into the structural elements of the first structural layer and / or flows along the inner surface of the first structural layer (i.e. along the surface facing to the second structural layer). Parts made of thermoplastic material after the repeated solidification form the fixed connection together with the first structural layer.
