FIELD: engineering mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to the fields of engineering mechanics and construction, in particular, to mechanical design. According to one aspect of the invention, a method is proposed for fixing a connector in the first object, while the connector contains a thermoplastic material in a solid state. In this case, according to the method: the presence of the first object and the connector is ensured, the connector is brought into contact with the first object from its distal side. In addition, by means of mechanical vibration energy, the first object is impacted from its proximal end opposite the distal side, while the object and the connector are pressed against each other, until flowability, at least partial one, of the proximal end of the connector is obtained, thereby forming a fluid part of the thermoplastic material, to ensure the fluid part flow into the structures of the first object and allow the fluid part return to a solid state providing a connection with a geometric closure between the first object and the connector.
EFFECT: technical result of the claimed group of inventions is to provide long-term and reliable fastening of parts.
