FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: greater trochanter is dissected away and reduced. Double femoral osteotomy follows. A fragment is dissected away from the femoral diaphysis. The fragment is inserted as an autograft between an angled plate and a lateral surface of the femoral neck. The femoral fragments are fixed with an angled plate and screws.
EFFECT: technique combines eliminating a high position of the greater trochanter and extending the femoral neck that decelerates the hip joint arthrosis and enables delaying the recurrent surgical interventions by performing the double femoral osteotomy and changing a place of autograft taking from the femoral bone.
