SUBSTANCE: according to the method, video data is received from two video cameras, a moving object and its location and/or parameters of movement in a two-dimensional coordinate system of a frame is determined, the obtained location and/or parameters of movement of the defined object from the two-dimensional coordinate system of the frame are converted to the two-dimensional coordinate system of the card, where at detection of the above object in a zone of vision of at least two chambers there combined are coordinates of the object into a generalised trajectory, an indexing record is created, which establishes interconnection with the video data containing the defined object and location and/or parameters of movement of the defined object on the card, and the indexing record is recorded to a data base and/or a store.
EFFECT: excluding duplicated records to a data store due to creation of an indexing record establishing interconnection of video data containing the defined observation object with its location on the card.
