FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to toner for forming electrostatic images and a developer containing said toner. The toner contains polymer binder, which contains a non-crystalline polyester resin and a crystalline polyester resin, a dye substance and wax. The toner satisfies the condition B-A<20, where A is the melting point of the crystalline polyester resin and B is the temperature at which the toner has a storage modulus G' 20000 Pa. The toner has a loss tangent of 1 or less at 80°C or higher.
EFFECT: obtaining toner for developing electrostatic images and a developer based on said toner, having stable capacity for low-temperature attachment, hot offset resistance and thermal stability during storage.
