FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of electrical engineering. The electric generator based on permanent magnets comprises a stator (2) and rotor (3) as well as armature winding (4), the rotor (3) is made of composite material with flat-topped cross-section, which is mounted at the metal shaft (5), magnets (1) with alternating poles are installed at the rotor (3) in slots, the armature winding (4) is placed at the composite stator (2) and made as independent sections. The armature winding (4) is placed at outer composite surface of the stator (2) at minimum distance from the magnet (1) poles in direct contact with environment. Sections of the armature winding (4) with equiphases are connected in series and may contain from 40 up to 120 of alternating permanent magnets (1). Rotation rate of rotor (3) varies from 50 up 60 revolutions per minute.
EFFECT: improved cooling of the armature winding, reduced inertia at minimum use of material, reduced noise level and number of revolutions as well as rotation rate.
