FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A method for saccadic eye movement detection accompanying linear figure sensing involves displaying a linear figure displaying on a screen, recording an x-coordinate of right and left eye's directions of gaze, determining a non-zero difference ΔX-coordinates of the right (Ra) and left (Le) eyes, wherein ΔX=XLe-XRa, constructing dynamic sequences for the right eye and the left eye, deriving spectral patterns of the dynamic sequences, constructing Fourier spectra, phase images of the sequences of X-coordinates and difference ΔX. The dynamic sequences, spectral patterns, phase images provide identifying periods of synchronous and asynchronous movements of the right and left eyes. This ensures deriving an excess of the length of right eye fixation over the left one.
EFFECT: using the above invention enables increasing a number of the derived objective values for an ability to sense the linear figures.
