FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: system (1) comprises a microscope unit (2) intended to be used in the culturing chamber (6) and having a frame, an object holder provided on the frame and imaging means mounted on the frame and intended for optical imaging of cells or tissues held on the object holder and image capturing means for capturing an image projected by the imaging means. The microscope unit (2) has connecting means (4) being able to be led out of the culturing chamber (6) and providing electrical power supply to the microscope unit (2) and transmitting the captured image. The connecting means (4) can be connected to a control unit (3) intended to be used outside of the culturing chamber (6) and transmitting the captured image to the data processing means (7) and the control unit (3) comprises devices adapted to suspend the electrical power supply of the microscope unit (2) with the exception of a period for capturing the image of the cells or tissues and transmitting the captured image to the control unit (3) via the connecting means (4).

EFFECT: high reliability of experiments conducted in a culturing chamber.
